Questions

The things people ask us most, about the products, orders, shipping and paying.

Getting started

It means an item is only made after someone buys it. You sell products with your designs. When an order comes in, you send it to us, and we make that one item and ship it to your customer. You never buy stock, store boxes, or own any machines.

No. Creating an account is free. There is no sign-up fee and no monthly subscription. You only pay for the items you order.

Our full price list is inside your free account. After you sign up and log in, your Home page lists every product you can order. Click See prices & options on any product to see all its prices.

Not at all. Placing an order is like filling out a simple form: your customer's name and address, the product, the size, and your design file. Every page in your account has a Help button if you ever get stuck.

Yes. You can add employees, and each one gets their own login. You choose exactly what each person can do, such as placing orders, viewing orders, or adding money.

Products and artwork

Yes, that's the whole idea. You send the artwork, names and personal touches for each order, and we make the product to match. Please only send designs you have the right to use.

It depends on the product:

  • Custom Coir Doormats: PNG, JPG, TIFF or PDF
  • 3D Laser Wood Signs: Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file
  • Ceramic Christmas Ornaments: PNG, JPG or TIFF
  • Engraved Marble Coasters: PNG, JPG or TIFF
  • Engraved Slate Coasters: PNG, JPG or TIFF

Always send the highest-quality version you have. The order form shows the file rules for each product as you go.

No. We make your item exactly from the file you send, without editing it. Your design is sized to fit the product you picked. The one thing we do on doormats is deepen black to a true black so it prints well. If you don't want that, upload a TIFF file.

White Ink Under Design puts a white layer under your artwork so light or faint colors still show up on the brown coir.

Edge to Edge Printing is for designs that run all the way to the edges of the mat, so the print covers the edges fully.

You don't have to guess. When you upload a design, we check it and turn on the right option for you, then ask you to confirm.

We do. Every item is made in-house by our own team in the USA, one order at a time.

Orders and shipping

No. You can order a single item. Every order is made on demand, whether you sell one or one thousand.

The easiest way is the New Order button in your account. Type your customer's address, pick the product, size and options, and upload your design. You can also connect your Etsy shop or ShipStation so orders come in without retyping. See How It Works for every option.

Anywhere you like: Etsy, your own website, Amazon, Walmart, craft fairs, or straight to friends and family. You can connect Etsy directly. If you use ShipStation, you can connect it to bring in orders from the stores you have there.

No. We ship "blind." There is no Stuful name, logo, invoice or price in the package, just your item and a plain thank-you card with no logos. We never contact your customers.

Yes. Every account saves a return address before placing its first order, and we check it with the Post Office. Your name prints on the label as the sender, and on USPS labels your return address does too, so undeliverable packages come back to you. You can change it any time from the Return Address page in your account.

Automatically. As soon as your order ships, the carrier and tracking number appear on the order in your account, and we email you. The email goes to you, not your customer, so you decide how to share it. If you connected Etsy or ShipStation, tracking can go back there too.

Yes, international addresses are accepted. The shipping cost is figured from where the order is going, and you'll see it in your order total before you place the order.

If a package is returned because the address was wrong or couldn't be delivered, we let you know, and we can ship it again at your cost. If the problem was our mistake, like a defect or the wrong item, we cover the cost to ship it again. Tip: use the Verify Address button on the order form to catch address mistakes before they happen.

If the order hasn't gone into production yet, it can be canceled and the money goes back to your Stuful balance as a credit, ready for your next order. Once we've started making it, it may be too late to cancel, so check your order before you place it.

Money and paying

Your account has a prepaid balance, like a gift card. You add money with a credit card or PayPal, and each order is paid from that balance when you place it. Your current balance shows at the top of every page in your account.

Save a credit card and turn on automatic top-ups. When your balance gets low, we add money for you so orders never get stuck. Without a saved card, just add money before placing your next order.

Yes. Every time money is added to your account, you get a paid receipt. Your Balance History page also lists every top-up and every order charge with dates.

Money you add to your balance stays there for future orders. It can't be refunded back to your card, so we suggest adding only what you plan to use.

Yes. We only use your customers' names and addresses to ship their orders. We never share them, sell them, or use them for anything else.
